Dr. Cambria Melkus has recently joined our practice as our relief veterinarian, so you may be seeing her around! You may even already know her since she is a local Dallas-site and graduated from Highland Park High School.
While she has lived in Texas most of her life, she has also lived abroad attending St. Matthews University, School of Veterinary Medicine on Grand Cayman Island. She completed her final clinical year at Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for a little over 5 years.
As a General Practitioner, she loves getting to work with dogs and cats of all ages, shapes, and sizes. She strives to educate pet parents on the best possible preventative medicine that will keep their fur babies as healthy and happy for as long as possible.
Dr. Melkus and her husband, Justin, have two children, Margot and McCabe. Their four-legged baby is named Big Buddy (pictured) and he enjoys coming to work with her when he’s not baby-sitting at home.
Come by and meet them!
