The coronavirus pandemic has changed many things for all of us in a short time. That makes looking back at the grand opening/open house of the new Lakewood Veterinary Center back on March 7th—before the realities and gravity of the virus were realized—even more special.
With that in mind, we thought we’d take a moment to share pictures from that great day and give a shout-out to those who made it possible!
In addition to almost 100 guests, we were also honored to have members of the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce on hand for the ribbon cutting. Among the other attendees were some standouts who helped our project come to fruition – our builder Tom Hall from Tom Hall Construction, Chris Tansil with Click Engineering, and the designer of our beautiful new space, Rawls Culver Architects & Civil Engineers. We kept everyone busy with clinic tours, facepainting, balloon art by Wow Balloons, a selfie station and mimosas.
We were also very sweetly welcomed to the neighborhood by Botolino Gelato Argitianale, who treated us all to delicious gelato.
We want to say a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make that day so great—and to let you know that if you weren’t able to join us, we hope to give you the opportunity to take a virtual online tour of our hospital in the near future!
